Kim Driscoll
I have been instructing tennis for over 20 years. 17 of these years were in Southern California at West End Racquet and Health Club. Five years ago, we moved to Boise, Idaho and started our company, The Little Tennis Academy. The Little Tennis Academy offers tennis lessons for kids and adults of any age. We offer private tennis lessons as well as group clinics. We formed the company out of the need to develop youth tennis and provide our students a rock-solid foundation for the game that I have been in love with all my life. I am proud to be a Boise tennis instructor.
I have received specialized training throughout my career from a number of coaches, including Pancho Segura in San Diego, Vitas Gerulaitis in New York and Robert Lansdorp, who was my coach for 8 years. Pancho Segura specialized in mental toughness, Vitas Gerulaitis specialized in setting up a point and execution and Robert Lansdorp focused on stroke production, mental toughness and setting up a point and execution. This has helped me become a very technical, passionate and driven coach.
This love and passion for the game was started at the age of 3 when I began playing and has continued to this day. I was a top 7 ranked junior player in Southern California and held a top 50 National Ranking during this time. I was also a highly recognized college player.
